You build digital foundations that perform. As a Website Developer at The Writer’s House Collective, you’ll be responsible for developing CMS-based websites and semi-custom builds that help our clients show up clearly and beautifully online.

This role focuses on building and maintaining marketing sites, landing pages, and informational platforms using tools like Webflow, WordPress, and Shopify. You’ll bring structure and stability to content-driven websites, while collaborating closely with the Website Designer, Front-End Developer, and Product Manager to bring projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities

1 / Develop CMS-Based Websites Across Client Projects

Build responsive, accessible websites using platforms like Webflow, WordPress, or Shopify—tailored to each brand’s structure and content needs.

2 / Implement Designs With Clean Layout and Functionality

Translate mockups and wireframes into pixel-accurate builds, ensuring mobile responsiveness and usability.

3 / Manage Basic Integrations and CMS Customization

Support third-party integrations (forms, analytics, scheduling tools) and make light theme or plugin customizations as needed.

Proficiency in CMS Platforms

Attention to Detail and Design Accuracy

You ensure spacing, alignment, and typography match the designer’s intent—and that the user experience feels consistent across devices.
